Team members from leading customer experience and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford, were at Silverstone at the weekend.
Client Relations Manager, Tony Butler-Waite and Account Manager, Matt Baxter, attended the Renault World Series event at the home of British motorsport, as guests of Douglas Stafford’s valued clients, Renault UK.
The World Series by Renault powered back to British shores at Silverstone for what proved to be an action-packed event, with thrilling racing action, involving some of motorsport’s most exciting young talents.
Playing host to some of motorsport’s most revered and successful racing championships, the Silverstone round of World Series by Renault featured the Formula Renault (FR) 3.5 Championship, the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and the Renault Sport Trophy.
Fittingly, as Silverstone prepared to host the first FR3.5 race in the UK since 2012, a British driver led the standings, with Fortec Motorsport’s Oliver Rowland arriving on home soil with a healthy 26 point advantage over France’s Matthieu Vaxiviere. And he continued his record of winning at each round by securing his fifth victory of the year ahead of his main rival.
During the event, there was the opportunity for Tony and Matt to get even closer to the action with an exclusive pit-walk, view the Renault Sport Show with classic Renault cars from years gone by and watch a demonstration from the Infiniti Red Bull F1 team.
Tony said: “It was a fantastic day and our thanks go to our valued clients, Renault UK, for letting us experience the Renault World Series with them.”
