 Mercedes-Benz plays key role in London Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz has been celebrating its 10th season as the official car partner of London Fashion Week.

And to mark the milestone, Mercedes presented up and coming Chinese designer, Simon Gao, who was showing in London for the first time.

 

Simon Gao was the star of Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week in 2013 and was the recipient of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz China Young Fashion Award.  With support from Mercedes-Benz China, Simon is presenting his new ‘Contrasting Wisdom’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2014, on the London Fashion Week schedule.

During London Fashion Week a fleet of environmentally friendly Mercedes-Benz cars have been seamlessly move international and UK media, fashion VIPs, models and designers around the capital.  The fleet includes the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the brand’s new stylish and compact SUV.

 

The relationship between Mercedes-Benz and London Fashion Week started in 2009 and Mercedes-Benz supports fashion in 22 countries around the globe. The partnership in the UK includes London Fashion Week and London Collections: Men and cements the brand’s reputation for style and design.
