Team members from Mystery Shopping and Customer Experience Insight specialists, Douglas Stafford, have been showing their support for Jeans for Genes Day today (Friday).
The head office team, based at Lakeside North Harbour, Portsmouth, all donned their best denim to support the annual fundraiser, each paying £1 which is donated to the Genetic Disorders UK charity.
Jeans for Genes is a national children’s charity, which raises money for the care of children and families who are affected by genetic disorders. It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder, with around 30,000 babies and children newly diagnosed in the UK each year.
Also this week, a new study from Skoda UK, conducted to mark the finale of the Tour of Britain, revealed the cycling habits of people across the UK.
The results showed that Scotland is home to the most fervent cycling fanatics, with Glaswegians spending an average of 4.9 hours a week on their bikes. You can read more here.
Valued Douglas Stafford client, Jaguar Land Rover, has been celebrating the 30th anniversary of the UK’s largest and longest running corporate challenge.
The Jaguar Land Rover Challenge is an outdoor team challenge weekend for teams of employees who set up camp, then participate in a full day of walking and team activities the next day. The highest scoring team wins the ‘Golden Boot’ trophy. You can read more about the event here.
