After last weekend’s late August Bank Holiday, there’s been plenty to keep the head office team, mystery shoppers and clients of customer experience specialists, Douglas Stafford, busy this week.
Today, team members have been showing their support for the Douglas Stafford nominated charity for 2015 – the Rowans Hospice – by each donating money as part of a Dress Down Day. Throughout the year, many Dress Down Days are held at the Douglas Stafford head office, with the total amount presented to the charity later in the year.
Yesterday, Douglas Stafford’s valued clients Virgin Holidays visited the company’s Portsmouth based head office. The team were given a full tour of each department and shown how they work together to deliver a range of bespoke Customer Experience and Audit Programmes. The visit provided an opportunity for Virgin Holidays to meet key team members at the Lakeside North Harbour HQ.
Also this week, long-standing clients of Douglas Stafford, Renault UK, unveiled their latest concept vehicle – the ALASKAN. Renault has shifted up a gear and decided to move into the pick-up market – a segment that accounts for more than one-third of global LCV sales. More information about the ALSAKAN concept can be found here.
UK automotive dealer group and clients of Douglas Stafford, Lookers, has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Amersham Jaguar.
With current locations at Charles Hurst Belfast, Lookers Park Royal, and Taggarts Motherwell and Glasgow, the purchase takes the total to five Jaguar businesses.
Lookers’ Chief Executive, Andy Bruce, said: “Amersham Jaguar is a well-known and well-respected business with a reputation for delivering quality customer service to its significant Jaguar customer base for this iconic, premium and innovative brand.”
