The Kia Soul EV network is expanding across the UK to a total of 19 dealers by the end of 2015.
The new additions will give more consumers the chance to go green.
Since launching in October 2014, the EV has been a popular addition to the dealer network across the UK, and with sales ahead of target, the EV looks to become a strong alternative to petrol or diesel engines.
With 185 dealers in the Kia network, the EV specialists are across the country, from St Austell in the South West of England, to Coatbridge in Scotland.
In addition to the 19 existing sites, new locations opening their doors to EV customers this summer are Burrows Barnsley, Hendy Eastleigh, Milton Keynes Kia, Premier Dukinfield, Romford Kia Essex and WLMG High Wycombe.
Ian Wilson, Kia Motors UK Ltd National Franchise Manager, said: “By expanding our EV specialist dealer network, we are giving a wider range of customers across the UK the opportunity to go electric. The EV is not just an urban vehicle, and the breath of our network demonstrates this.”
With a range of 132 miles on a single charge, the Soul EV has set a new standard within its class and is available from £24,995 after the government’s £5000 Plug-in Car grant. The EV benefits from Kia’s renowned fully transferable seven year warranty. The warranty is transferable to any subsequent owner should the car be sold before the end of the warranty.
