The inaugural David Williamson Award for the best performance of the quarter has taken place at the head office of mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford.
The award was the brainchild of Data Analyst, David Williamson, who thought a reward for an excellent performance within the company should be recognised.
Douglas Stafford Chief Executive, Nigel Cook, was delighted with the suggestion and decided to name the award after David, and presented him with a £50 Marks and Spencer voucher.
Managers and Supervisors at the company’s Lakeside North Harbour, Portsmouth head office, were invited to nominate who they thought had gone above and beyond the call of duty in the workplace during the first three months of 2015.
After much deliberation between the senior management team, a shortlist of four was compiled, comprising – Silla Rickard, Kevin Pape, Julie Warrior and Ciaran Groom.
As team members watched on with anticipation, Nigel announced that the first ever winner of The David Williamson Award was ICMS Lead Department team member, Ciaran.
Ciaran was presented with a certificate, a trophy and a £50 Marks and Spencer voucher for his achievements.
Ciaran was praised for his excellence in managing his workload, his efficiency, attitude towards his work and his willingness to help others.
Congratulations Ciaran!
