There’s been a buzz around the head office of mystery shopping company, Douglas Stafford, following last weekend’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
On Friday night, more than 150 team members and valued clients partied the night away at the south coast’s most iconic building, the Spinnaker Tower.
Douglas Stafford took over the whole building for an exclusive party with entertainment, live music, food and drink, to mark the important 25 year milestone in the company’s history.
Meanwhile, during the daytime on Friday and Saturday, Douglas Stafford team members took to the water with clients on board the 40ft Beneteau yacht, Lady Diane, for a special sailing experience in the Solent. And many thrill-seeking guests enjoyed exhilarating blasts in the Solent on a high-powered RIB, with some returning to shore slightly damper than when they left.
Local press also took a keen interest in the 25th anniversary of Douglas Stafford. Chief Executive Nigel Cook featured on the business pages of The Portsmouth News in an interview with Business Editor, Claire French, starred on BBC Radio Solent as a guest on the Katie Martin Afternoon Show, and also on featured on Isle of Wight Radio.

On Tuesday, clients from Renault UK joined Douglas Stafford for a team-building sailing day on board Lady Diane. The group set sail from Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth and headed across to the Isle of Wight for lunch.
On Thursday, it was the turn of clients from Honda UK to jump aboard Lady Diane for a special corporate sailing day.
Elsewhere, this week Douglas Stafford’s valued client, Lexus, was been rewarded for its commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
For the second year running, Lexus has been placed at the top of the ‘Best Car Dealer’ rating in the Auto Express Driver Power survey. You can read more here.
And finally, after months of intense training, Douglas Stafford team member Curtis Pitter completed a gruelling climb of the highest mountain in the British Isles – Ben Nevis.
Curtis set himself the challenge of raising £500 for the Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity after being diagnosed with the disease. But following support from family, friends and colleagues at Douglas Stafford, Curtis has raised more than £2,000 for charity. More about his challenge can be found here.
